In the work “The Star”, we see the materialisation of the cycle that arises after the fall: when what was false collapses, the Star appears to rebuild consciousness.

Visually, the female figure emerges against a deep blue background, delicately holding a small boat in her raised hand. It is the movement in which the psyche accepts plunging into the primordial water represented by the white waves at her feet, reconciling the divine and the earthly, spirit and matter. The trace of the boat’s course runs along her leg, like a nautical chart, until it reaches the Compass Rose tattoo on her foot. It acts as a sign of orientation, while the path skirts rocks and abysses, turning aside and returning to ensure the continuity of life.

The work invites us to stop fighting the unconscious, guiding ourselves by its light. It is the art of finding our way in the vast ocean, trusting in the light that crosses the night, just as the ancient navigators already taught us, who navigated by the stars.
