The female body, in red, is the very action of justice. The red thread extends from one of her hands; in the other, she holds the web that is taking shape. There is no separation between the one who acts and what is constructed: it is through our actions that the fabric of the world is made.
On the grey ground, two balls of yarn, one black and one white, place side by side what is already given: facts, laws, events and choices meet in this fabric as it takes shape. Nothing is completely separate: each thread touches another, each gesture affects what comes after.
The figure, with her hair loose, gently turns her face towards the fabric her own hand supports. Her hair emphasises the freedom to act, choose and participate consciously in what we are building. Her movement calls on us to look at what we are weaving as we do it, recognise the responsibility contained in each gesture and understand that every action adds a thread to the web we share.
