As can be felt in all the works, the very history of the artist’s consciousness becomes material for creation and connection with the arcana. Here, a body lying on the ground assumes a posture of active receptivity, in deep acceptance of the process of transformation born of the relationship with forces greater than itself.
Its skin, like a snake’s, begins to peel away from the body, while waves of energy circulate from the inside out, passing through the form that is dissolving and the one beginning to emerge.
Above, the purple triangle marks another dimension of time, pointing towards what transforms while life follows its course. In the green, transformation meets the earth, concreteness and the foundation that sustains a new way of existing.
Unlike Death, which announces the end of a form, the Aeon places us before what is born after it. What was in gestation finds a new form of existence, and consciousness can at last recognise itself as transformed.
